Set in the heart of the New Forest, Beaulieu offers a Christmas celebration with a difference. Inside the magnificent 13th-century Domus, roaring log fires, long banqueting tables and a medieval feast set the scene for an evening made for good company.

Banquet of Plenty

Step inside the 13th-century Domus, take your place at the banqueting table and prepare for a Christmas feast inspired by centuries of tradition.

Platters are made for passing around the table, laden with roast chicken basted with honey, thyme and fig, brown ale-glazed ham hock and pork and cranberry pastry. Hearty chicken pottage served in trencher bread and seasonal accompaniments complete the feast.

Then save room for something sweet, with crème bastarde flavoured with cinnamon and orchard fruits, alongside pears stewed in wine and honey.

Who will rule the table?

Every table receives its own carving set, apron and chef's hat, ready for one guest to take their place at the head of the feast and serve their hungry court.

Once the feasting is done, continue the celebrations with entertainment, live music or a DJ and make the Domus your own for the evening.

Please note: Costumes aren't included, so your knightly look is up to you.
